Babylon is a Cosmos-based blockchain introducing innovative modular security architecture. Its native token, BABY, powers the network through staking, governance, and fees.
By staking BABY via Keplr Wallet, you support the Babylon network’s security and decentralization — while earning staking rewards. Choosing a top validator like 01NODE ensures your stake is in expert hands with high uptime and performance.
Step-by-Step Guide to Stake BABY on Babylon with 01NODE
Requirements
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A Keplr Wallet installed and set up
- The Babylon network added to Keplr (via wallet.keplr.app)
- A balance of BABY tokens in your Babylon account
- A small amount of BABY left for transaction (gas) fees
1. Open the Keplr Dashboard and Select Babylon

Go to:
From the network dropdown (top-left), scroll and select Babylon. Your BABY token balance should appear once the network is active.
2. Click “Stake”
In the Babylon dashboard, click the “Start Staking” button in the top menu. This opens the list of all active validators in the Babylon network.
3. Search and Select 01NODE Validator

Use the search bar to type 01NODE.
Click our name in the validator list to view detailed info:
- Commission rate
- Uptime history
- Voting power
Click the “Delegate” button next to 01NODE.
4. Enter the Amount of BABY to Stake

A prompt will appear. Enter the amount of BABY tokens you want to stake.
Make sure to leave a small portion (e.g., 0.01 BABY) to cover transaction fees.
Click Next or Delegate to continue.
5. Approve the Transaction in Keplr

Keplr will open a confirmation popup. Double-check all details:
- Validator: 01NODE
- Amount: the BABY you chose
- Fee: network fee estimate
Click Approve. The transaction will be broadcasted to the Babylon blockchain.
After Staking
- You’ll start receiving staking rewards in BABY automatically.
- You can claim rewards manually from the dashboard anytime.
You can undelegate or redelegate at any time, but Babylon may impose an unbonding period (e.g., 14–21 days).
