Namada is a privacy-first, proof-of-stake blockchain that leverages advanced cryptographic techniques to ensure private transactions across assets and applications. Its unique Cubic slashing mechanism adds an additional layer of accountability, incentivizing validators to maintain optimal performance and security. By delegating your NAM tokens, you actively contribute to the stability and privacy guarantees of the network while earning staking rewards in return.
At 01NODE, we understand the importance of uptime and reliability — especially within privacy-focused ecosystems like Namada. Our validator node is built on secure, independent infrastructure, with a track record of zero downtime across multiple networks. This makes us a dependable choice for delegators who prioritize both performance and peace of mind when staking their assets.
How to Stake NAM with 01NODE – Step-by-Step Guide
Pre-requisites
- Namada Keychain (browser or Ledger hardware)
- NAM tokens
- 01NODE validator address
1. Install Namada Keychain

To get started, you’ll first need to download and install the Namada Keychain extension (a browser-based wallet). This allows you to create your wallet, manage keys, and sign transactions securely.

2. Create a Namada account

After installing the extension, follow the prompts to create a new Namada account. You’ll generate both a shielded address (for private transactions) and a transparent address (for public ones).
Make sure to securely store your recovery phrase — this is the only way to recover your account if needed.
3. Get NAM tokens

To stake, you’ll need some NAM, Namada’s native token. You can obtain NAM through exchanges (for mainnet) or via faucet tools (for testnet).
These tokens are required not only for staking but also to cover transaction fees.
Some fees may also be paid using other supported assets like ATOM or OSMO.
4. Connect your wallet to Namadillo

Go to the official staking and governance interface, Namadillo:
Click “Connect Wallet” and choose the Namada Keychain. Once connected, you’ll be able to view your wallet’s NAM balance and validator options.
5. Stake NAM with 01NODE

Click the “Stake” tab in the interface. In the validator list, search for 01NODE — our validator is known for zero downtime, strong infrastructure, and a long-standing reputation across networks.
Click on 01NODE and enter the amount of NAM you wish to delegate.
Confirm the validator, amount, and fee, then click “Stake”.
6. Approve the transaction in Namada Keychain

Your wallet will prompt you to approve and sign the staking transaction.
Carefully review the details, then click “Approve”.
Within seconds, your delegation will be active, and you’ll start earning rewards based on validator performance and protocol incentives.
After staking

Rewards distributed every epoch. You can redelegate or unbond via interface.
